'Painting with Edgefield VIII'
NZ$1,950.00
Ink and pigment on 640gsm hot-pressed Lanaquarelle card, 330×265mm, framed, 2024.
This piece was painted during Amanda’s residency in Edgefield, using the inks and pigments (and brushes) that were used on the large canvases throughout the day. It tells a story about the kinds of colours and viscosity of the inks and the painterly choices that were involved to make work that day. The painting captures ideas, thoughts, and impressions that were brewing during the day as she was in the flow of encountering the place.
Expertly framed with conservation reflection control glass that blocks 99% UV light helping to protect the work from fading, by Emily Rumney and Steph Chalmers at Framing House in Hamilton, Aotearoa.
