Hello friends, I have some work in a show that's opening on October 9th at RAMP Gallery, Collingwood Street, Hamilton. Open Monday to Friday 12.30 to 4pm.
The show is called Nebula and presents work by Diane Prince, Layne Waerea, and myself. It's put together by Ed Hanfling and his students enrolled in the Media Arts contextual elective "After Post-modernism.
It would be great if you could make it! More details coming.

I started this one a few days ago, using memories and photographs of our hike in Fiordland last school holidays. Still got a bit to do on it I think. If you're around Hamilton, come and see it in my new space in the Riverbank Lane :)Read More

Just before moving studio, I managed to finished this one. It's oils on canvas. I haven't titled it yet.... but it will be something organic and landscapey....(is that a word? It is now)...
This one is also up on the wall at my new space - oil and pencil on paper.
I've just finished this new painting and it's up in my new space in Hamilton. Come and visit - The Riverbank Lane, 298 Victoria Street, Hamilton. I'll have an opening soon so I'll keep you posted about that!
I've been working on some paintings on wood panel, with oils and inks and resin. The artist brief was to respond to the story of Easter and in particular the presence and absence of Christ through that time. I really enjoyed making the work - I used oval panels, like windows. I'll post some images of the work soon.
All tucked up with nice greenery and furniture!
This beautiful show curated by Steph Chalmers and Lynda Wilson is on at the Calder & Lawson Gallery at the University of Waikato this month. It features work from their Art Collection, and includes one of my works!
There is talk of making a Public Art Gallery in Hamilton, the city where I live, for many years. I had a hand in researching for and writing this discussion paper... I wonder if it will ever eventuate!?
